Shooting with The Rock

I had the awesome opportunity to work with The Rock and Seven Bucks Digital Studios on this innovative project for Youtube. It was so cool to see how technology is breaking open new barriers in film-making that is such a great challenge for actors, as well as the rest of the creative team. This team of creatives were SO AWESOME, positive, and just down for a full on jungle adventure. It made working on set SO much fun! The Rock was beyond kind, hilarious, and we had an amazing time shooting “Escape from Calypso Island” –Enjoy!

Cool innovative Virtual Reality stuff.. Our #SevenBucksDigitalStudios has team up with @google to push the boundaries of what you can experience on YouTube! We flew a team of VR experts to Hawaii to shoot dope content in 360 degree video that pushes the limits of what this new form of storytelling can achieve. You, the viewer, will be taken on a crazy fun ride WITH ME, thru the jungle as we battle a lot of evil shit and try to save the world. We thought of it as making our Disney ride, just with a few more cuss words thrown in there by yours truly. ? We used some very innovative techniques in this shoot and can't wait to have @sevenbucksprod'a play more in this space. The video drops on HALLOWEEN ? The cool thing about 360 is that it gives the viewer control over what they want their visual experience to be. Think of it as your own disneyland adventure ride on your phone. I am so thankful to be a part of such a ground breaking video experience!
