PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES FOR KIDS
COME and SHINE with US! In this class, students will be introduced to the exciting world of performing arts through acting exercises and games,movement and dance, as well as singing. Come join in the imaginative fun, and gain creative confidence! All levels welcome.
Shine on stage will cover different developmental journeys of the imagination, speaking and singing voice, body awareness and movement, as well as character development. Each class contains a segment dedicated to focus, mental freedom, creative movement, vocal warm ups, structured dance and song, and group work. Through these segments, students work on performances that will be showcased at the end of the semester to give them a “stage” experience.
This class is a low pressure positive environment seeking to help children in finding their unique self and sharing it with the class and the community. We seek to create a place of trust with our ensemble, and a safe space for emotions to be processed and plugged in to our work. Most importantly, we have JOYOUS fun!
